Dedicated to the memory of Malcolm Mackintosh

This page is a tribute to Malcolm Mackintosh. Sadly missed but always remembered fondly by friends, family, colleagues and ex-pupils. This web page contains details on the tribute to Malcolm such as directions, timings and also information pertaining to giving donations. We as the family and Carol as his loving wife hope you can attend the church for the main service, with close family and friends at the crematorium, followed by a celebration afterwards. 

The family invite you to wear smart, comfortable clothing in dark colours in celebration of Malcolm's life.

A celebration of Malcolm's life will be held at St Albans C Of E Church on Friday 26th April 2024 at 11:30 am.

 

By request of the family, please take your seats upon your arrival in church.

Alternatively, cash or cheque donations (only) can be made payable to the Haematology Day Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital, and can be placed in the donation box provided as you depart the church. Will be missed by everyone, friends and family and was a lovely day to remember him

Malcolm was a very special man. I first met him many years ago when Carol, my good friend, went to college in Nottingham and he became her boyfriend. He subsequently came to live in Sale and there are many happy memories. Malcolm was always welcoming, very sociable and cheerful. My children, Andrew and Louise, both went to Ashton on Mersey school and remember him as being a great teacher. When Andrew first started at AOM, he tells me that he saw Malcolm and said hello Uncle Malcolm. Malcolm said, with a smile on his face, it's Mr Mackintosh when you're at school. I could write an essay, but I'll finish by saying that Malcolm was a wonderful husband to Carol and a lovely person.
